Terms & Conditions | The AON Initiative

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using The AON Initiative, Inc. ("TAONI") website, programs, community chat, or SMS messaging service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use these services.

2. About TAONI

3. Program Enrollment

Participants under 13 are not eligible to self-enroll. Ages 13–17 require parent/guardian consent recorded on the enrollment form.
Program fees, when applicable, are disclosed on each program page prior to checkout. Refund policies are described at the point of enrollment.
TAONI reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct disrupts programming or violates these Terms.

4. SMS / Text Messaging Service

TAONI's SMS service is powered by Twilio. By opting in you agree to receive recurring program updates, event reminders, chat notifications, and announcements at the mobile number provided.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply HELP for assistance or contact connect@taoni.org.
Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt back in (reply START or UNSTOP).
Supported carriers include all major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You represent that you are the account holder of, or are authorized to provide, the mobile number submitted.

5. Community Chat Conduct

TAONI chat rooms are moderated spaces. By participating you agree not to:

Harass, threaten, or discriminate against any person.
Post sexually explicit, violent, or illegal content.
Share another person's private information without consent.
Solicit, advertise, or promote unrelated commercial offers.
Impersonate TAONI staff, partners, coaches, or other participants.

TAONI may remove content, suspend, or permanently revoke access at our discretion. Minors-only or mixed-audience rooms follow additional safety rules described at enrollment.

6. Donations

Donations to TAONI are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by U.S. law. Receipts are issued via email. Donations are generally non-refundable except in cases of demonstrable error; contact connect@taoni.org within 30 days.

7. Intellectual Property

All TAONI logos, program names (including "Full Court Press," "Press Corps," "Bridgeway," and "TechBridge"), curriculum materials, and site content are the property of The AON Initiative, Inc. You may not reproduce or distribute them without written permission.

8. User Content

By uploading images, video, or messages to TAONI chat or forms, you grant TAONI a non-exclusive license to store and display that content within the service. You retain ownership of your content and are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to share it.

9. Disclaimers

The site and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. TAONI does not guarantee uninterrupted service or specific program outcomes (athletic, academic, or career).

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TAONI and its directors, staff, and volunteers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the services.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
