1. Who We Are

The AON Initiative, Inc. ("TAONI," "we," "us," or "our") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity headquartered in Hampton, Georgia. We operate media-based, technology-driven programs serving young adults, student-athletes, entrepreneurs, and community members across Illinois, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Georgia.

2. Information We Collect

Contact information: name, email address, phone number, and (for minor participants) parent/guardian contact details.
Program enrollment: program selected, age bracket, guardian consent records, fees paid, and session attendance.
Chat & community: account profile, role (Parent, Participant, Volunteer, Staff, etc.), messages, images, and video clips you upload to TAONI chat rooms.
Newsletter & donor interest: email subscriptions and donate-button click activity used to understand engagement.
Technical data: device type, browser, and basic analytics needed to operate the site securely.

3. SMS / Text Messaging (Twilio)

TAONI uses Twilio to send and receive text messages related to program updates, event reminders, chat-room notifications, and announcements. By providing your mobile number and opting in — through a program registration form, organizational onboarding form, or by texting START to our Twilio number — you consent to receive recurring SMS/MMS messages from The AON Initiative.

Parents/guardians provide written consent on behalf of minor participants.
Your mobile information and SMS opt-in data will not be shared, sold, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing is limited to subcontracted service providers (such as Twilio) strictly to deliver the messaging service you requested.

4. How We Use Information

To enroll and serve participants in TAONI programs.
To deliver chat-room notifications, program reminders, and administrative communications.
To process donations and partnership inquiries.
To improve our programs, site, and outreach.
To comply with legal and grant-reporting obligations.

5. Minors

TAONI programs serve youth as young as 12. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Participants ages 13–17 must have a parent or guardian complete the consent and contact section of our enrollment forms.

6. Sharing

We share information only with vetted service providers needed to operate our programs (e.g., Twilio for SMS, our hosting and email infrastructure providers), and only as required to deliver the service. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law.

7. Your Choices

Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.
Unsubscribe from email by using the link in any TAONI email or emailing connect@taoni.org.
Request access, correction, or deletion of your information by emailing connect@taoni.org.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted transport, access controls, and row-level database security. No method of transmission is 100% secure; we work continuously to protect your data.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
